People seem to get here via searches for questions that aren’t answered here all the time. Here are some answers to those questions, in the hope that they can get something useful out of it:
Warning: Unknown property ‘zoom’. Declaration dropped. – also Warning: Unknown property ‘filter’. Declaration dropped.
This is a warning thrown by FireFox (or anything else based on Gecko/Mozilla) that is unimportant. “Zoom” is a CSS property that is specific to Internet Explorer, and is frequently used to work around annoying bugs in said browser. The same applies to “filter”, although it has some other unimportant uses too. Everything else just ignores it, sometimes emitting annoying warnings like the above. The message is harmless.
osgrid
Alternate SL grid based on OpenSim. Find it over here.
deepgrid
Another OpenSim grid. See their website (down at the time of writing).
uncancel second life account
You can uncancel your SL account from the SL account page after logging in using said account – however, this only works up to two months after your account is cancelled, and after the first month your land will be reclaimed.
Uploading sound or MP3 files (in SL)
SL will let you upload wav files of less than (but not equal to) 10.0 seconds. The files must be 44.1KHz. Try using Audacity to achieve this. Uploading sounds via LSL is impossible without awkward hacks.
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server, or alternatively Bad Gateway
This is an Apache error message. It means that an attempt by mod_proxy to contact another server failed. Basically, the website’s down. In relation to AjaxLife, it means that the main AjaxLife server crashed, but the physical machine is still responsive.
SLeek Development
Go look at Delta’s blog.
SLeek on mono/Ubuntu
As far as I know, is impossible, at least as of now. Same goes for OS X.
This ends a largely off-topic post. I omitted the searches involving my name combined with variations on beds, on the basis I neither know nor care what they’re on about. Also, “logmein logs me out” is a rather amusing issue, but not one I can help with.
