Second Life just closed with about one minute’s warning. The blog only has this to say:
In order to address an issue with an inventory server, Second Life is temporarily limiting login to staff accounts.
I guess there’s a major inventory loss bug or something. <.<
Second Life was fixed. Then it broke for the rest of the day. Then they replaced some broken hardware and it’s fixed again. So that was annoying.
This has been true for a couple of days, but I thought I’d point out that my new house, Aurora, is finished – you can see some pictures of it on Flickr.
I’ve also re-designed my statistics website to make it look more like secondlife.com. Please tell me which design you prefer – I think the newer one looks cleaner, personally.
Also, does anyone else think that Tahoe needs sorting out? Look at this:

At least as of me writing this, as well as the whole of the preceeding week, performance for this sim has been unacceptably low. (And as of this edit it’s been fixed)
Now, I’m going to add some more numbers to the individual sim pages on stats.katharineberry.co.uk, after which I shall be dragged away for lunch and bowling or something. Which I’m not hugely keen on, less so with my sister’s friend hanging around.
On a side note, I’m really glad that my parents don’t know this site exists. >.>
Second Life is broken. Again. As such, my fancy online thingies are taking forever to load, and my sim status tracker has declared every sim to be offline. Which is wrong.
Additionally, my parents keep yelling at me. And other things are going badly too.
So I’m frustrated. And bored. And depressed.

Second Life is back up again!
Now I can get started on my in-world blog poster. It shouldn’t be too complex.. >.>
I’ll post the code here when it’s finished.
UPDATE: Actually, I won’t post the code. It’s a horrible hack, and I’ve disabled it. I’ll make a better system later.

[21:26 GMT] The grid is scheduled to be back up by 22:00 GMT. Fingers crossed, again.
[20:11 GMT] As predicted, LL screwed up. Looks like I’m not logging on for a while. In the meantime, I’m going to be on the preview grid working on a system to post to the blog from SL.
Linden Lab have taken SL offline for the 1.13.3 update, which will hopefully stop the grid dying every single day, albeit at the cost of minor search functionality. This means that my “currently online” tracker will never be able to work again, but since it hasn’t been working for months, I guess it doesn’t really matter.
As I type this, the servers are back up, but logins are still restricted. Fingers crossed that everything goes well, and we can actually log in on time.
