Bad things like that happen both in life and Second Life, and whether you've been tricked or not, you still managed to achieve something very few of all the people bitching here could ever dream of. You've assembled the very first SL web interface, you've been cited in an article of New World Notes... not many managed to do that. So don't get discouraged by this bad story, and keep doing this great project that I'm sure has the potential to spark more and more interest as it grows: you have much to gain and little to lose by doing what you love, developing your pet project. I’m not taking sides, because I think both you Katharine and you Mercury are decent, intelligent people. You both are very creative… AjaxLife looked amazing. I would have loved to use it. As for the sim, Aura (Or whatever it should be called..) I don’t think you made the agreement very descriptive, and it sounded like, from your forum post originally that you had little or no interest in the outcome of the buyer.

I have sold my own work to people for resale, and I have been ripped off by accepting a buyer’s offer. Iv been lied to, and my wishes have been violated in turn for someone else’s benefit. But I ACCEPT it for what it is, and that I no longer have any control over it.

Mercury explains directly what he intended to do, and that he would close the sim, find builders, then reopen it to the public. As for terra forming, I don’t think you should have exclaimed you would kill someone. Mercury was not intending to offend you. You never said anything about terra-forming or appearance of the sim.

Your own dreams and visions will differ from someone else. I think you should either accept it, or you can ignore Mercury. Even though this is Marjory irrelevant, since he is now on the MG, this entire argument is blown way out of proportion.

I had said I’m not taking sides in all this, but I’m trying to give you advice from my own experience. I guess this comment is a little out of date, and that I am re-igniting an old conflict, but iv gotten into similar arguments with people. I’m a very irritable person though, and if something doesn’t go the way I want, I tend to get very angry. I have tried to apologize to all the people I have offended through my words and intentions.
