Mostly because I manage to consistently screw up.
In this specific case, I managed to get a B in the AS Computing exam that I did a couple of months ago. No idea how I managed to screw it up, but I did. (For those of you who know what an AS exam is, I’m not two years older than I claim to be; I did the exam two years early. For those who don’t, ask Wikipedia.)
Oh, and hello to anyone who came over from LL’s newsletter. I suppose my server will start crashing again now. Oh well.
As for other stuff, I’m still working on TSLE’s upgrade and being miserable about the upcoming end of holiday.

Having dug up some old backups of TSLE, I have restored the broken code. It’ll be back up as soon as your DNS updates, although it may take a few hours for products to start reappearing.

Due to a screwup in relation to various large chunks of unrecoverable code, TSL Emporium has closed.
It’ll be back at some indeterminate point in the future, hopefully better than before! (it was going to be rewritten anyway…)
I have just added a new feature to TSL Profiles‘ µBlogs – you can now add photos to it using Second Life’s built-in snapshot sending ability.
To use this:
- Create an account (TG only)
- Take a snapshot
- Send it as a postcard to blog [asperand] tslprofiles [dot] com. (Hint: “asperand” is the technical name for “@”)
- Fill in the message as the µBlog entry, and the subject as a caption for the photo
For an example, visit my TSLP page and click the “µBlog” tab. Be sure to click the photos!
There is more to come along these lines…

UPDATE 2: It’s really fixed this time. Last time it was partially fixed, but then started throwing things into black holes and sending emails saying “I can break the rules too, you know.” to itself instead of actually delivering things. Yay for misconfiguration. Anyway, it’s back now. Onward to more email issues!
UPDATE: Email should work now. I can’t send myself mail, but sending from other addresses of mine seems to work. I need to look into this.
Just a note to anyone who might want to email me – due to server maintenence, any email you try to send to me will bounce, on the basis the mail server isn’t running. (Or even installed, for that matter).
…but they’re broken. At least partially.
Anyway, TG concurrency is now marked in dark orange on the frontpage image (it’s the flat line at the bottom), and all sims now get a graph like this:

More coming soon! (And I need to work out why the numbers seem to be ±1).
